Below, you can find the visualizations comparing Limburg to other provinces of the Netherlands.
Firstly, a map is shown in which the population size for a certain year is shown per province. Using the slider, a different year can be chosen. Hovering over the map displays a tool tip with the population size for that province. When a province of the map is clicked, the page will scroll down to the population pyramid and barchart, in which Limburg will be compared with that chosen province. If Limburg is clicked, Limburg will be compared with the entirity of the Netherlands.
The population pyramid displays the population per age group for Limburg and a chosen province for a certain year. The bar chart compares Limburg and a chosen province for a certain year on a chosen topic using the dropdown menu. The information button at the bottom creates a pop up message with additional information about the pyramid and the barchart.
